Ethiopia Reripa Nensebo

$22.00$105.00

Earl Grey - Sprite - caramel - milk chocolate

The coffee comes from SNAP washing station, in the West Arsi district of Sidamo. Outgrowers grow JARC and landrace varietals between 1900–2200 MASL, and bring it to the station, where it is wet-fermented for up to two days, washed and dried on raised beds.

We are just getting to know this coffee, and have found it to be a multi-layered shapeshifter. Tasting notes have ranged from the apricot/stonefruit that  we often expect from Sidamo, to lemon-lime, bergamot, and various sugar browning base notes. It’s a nice, clean, nuanced cup.

  • Location: Nensebo, West Arsi, Oromia, Sidamo
  • Elevation: 1800-2100 MASL
  • Varietal: landrace and JARC varietals
  • Process: washed, dried on raised beds
