This fresh crop washed coffee is certified organic and comes from the Buna Boka washing station of the Sidama Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union.
It was a standout on the cupping table due to its multi-dimentional nuance. While this coffee certainly has a nice, creamy mouthfeel, like many of the better coffees from the region, it also shows floral and citric characteristics–think orange and lemongrass, rather than ripe stonefruit–that make it particularly dynamic. It’s a crisp, refreshing cup you can drink all day long.
