Bird Dog Coffee
$18.00 – $95.00
This is our flagship espresso blend, built at a time when the espresso you found at your local coffee shop would probably be black, oily and bitter. We wanted to pull something much sweeter in the northern Italian style. Eleven years after the fact, it’s still our best seller, and mostly as a brewed coffee. With a heavy body, brown sugar tones, dark fruit and enough acidity to keep it from being clunky, it’s what lots of our customers think of when they think of “good coffee.”
We are especially proud of our sourcing for this coffee, as organic-certified coffees from Brazil are extremely hard to come by, and cost twice as much as comparable Brazils that carry no certification. We are confident you will not find a better Brazil-based, certified organic espresso blend anywhere, especially at this price point. If you do, please let us know. Seriously!
This coffee was chosen as a Golden Bean bronze medal winner in 2016.
- Fazenda Cachoeira, Campos das Vertentes, Brazil
- La Chorrera, Cajamarca, Peru
- Suke Quto honey, Guji, Ethiopia
- Kayon Mountain natural, Guji, Ethiopia
- Dimtu, Guji, Ethiopia
