Ethiopia Bekele Dukale Natural
This is an absolute stunner of a dry process coffee from Yirgacheffe. It is the product of a single farmer member–Bekele Dukale–of the Worka cooperative, a 300 member subgroup of the larger YCFCU. The coffee is superb. Why? Great naturals from Yirgacheffe exhibit a finesse and clarity that naturals from most other origins cannot match. The acidity keeps the coffee lively, instead of pulpy and clunky, and the fruit character is light and refreshing, while at the same time being candy sweet. Pick a fruit, and you can probably find it. We find blueberry, pineapple, grapefruit, along with dark chocolate and a pink flavor like cotton candy.
