This is our flagship espresso blend, built at a time when the espresso you found at your local coffee shop would probably be black, oily and bitter. We wanted to pull something much sweeter in the northern Italian style. Seven years after the fact, it’s still our best seller, and mostly as a brewed coffee. With a heavy body, brown sugar tones, dark fruit and enough acidity to keep it from being clunky, it’s what lots of our customers think of when they think of “good coffee.”
This coffee was chosen as a Golden Bean bronze medal winner in 2016.
